Well... for me a controller is better for that. It's definitely easier to sit back with a duelshock, than a logitech... unless you master the awkward art of balancing a keyboard on you lap and somehow working a mouse.

I love PC gaming best but I also really enjoy consoles... not that I have one.

Well, I'm probably tripple your size, so a keyboard actually balances perfect on my lap and on my stomach if I were to lay down.

I agree that PC is best, and that keyboards/mouse better than controller. I don't agree that controllers are complete crap.. just more limited.

Not at all. Maybe I am gifted with some uncanny powers, but I can work a controller quite easily.
