its about the same amount of driving for you as it is me... 3-3 1/2 hours

WOW!!!! this place seems very dead today, I wounder if it has anything to do with school or maybe everyone has actually found something else to

Yeah, I guess it's because all our younger members are back at school now.

Quite a scary day today!!..........All this week I've been on a training course for planning and managing on-site heavy lifting; ie tower cranes.

Today I had to climb up one to learn how to carry out a standard safety inspection. There's just a vertical steel ladder up through the centre, and these guys are tall! And exposed! It was about 150 foot vertical climb!


I took a photo looking down from the first 'rest stage'.



And another one looking up and out along the jib.



I didn't take any photos higher up because I was too scared to let go!!
