I sure can. I was born in Bakersfield, CA and spent time there in the summer. It gets to be like a ghost town during the hottest part of the day when you have lows around 85, it's 110 by noon, and 114-116 by dinner time. And it goes on for several months like that. Originally Posted by snakehill

107 is the record for Vancouver, WA. 108 for the Portland area. It's never been hotter since they've been keeping records. Old record was broken just a couple of years ago.
