    Re: paranormal expieriences?

Every "paranormal" experience anyone has had in my house was drug induced. Every single family member who lived with us who "saw a spirit" was on drugs. My mom claims to see spirits all the time, but she's always high on painkillers for her arthritis. I know first hand what painkillers can do to your brain, so it was them and nothing more.

    Re: paranormal expieriences?

I have had a few... the man that built a house I lived in as a kid died in it. my dad was at work, my sister was watching tv in the front room, and my borther, mom and I were in the kitchen playing cards. we heard someone walk across the room directly above us in the kitchen. we ran upstairs and every window was locked from the inside. no one else was in the house.

    Cool Re: paranormal expieriences?

My friend Kris is a Lutheran pastor, and used to be in the Memphis area. I once accompanied him to pay a visit to a couple he was counseling for marriage. As it turns out, their house was haunted, and Kris performed an exorcism (Basically, a Rite of Home Dedication, but with parts of the Baptismal liturgy interspersed and emphasized). I did see some strange inexplicable things, (doors opening and closing by themselves, and tiny clawmarks appearing on the girl's back). Looking back, I probably should have been afraid, but oddly, I felt more angry than anything else at the time. Once Kris finished the rite, the occurrences seemed to stop.

I've had other experiences, but nothing quite as compelling as this one.
People assume that time is a strict progression of cause to effect, but actually, from a non-linear, non-subjective viewpoint, it's more like a big ball of wibbly-wobbly timey-wimey stuff.
