8 months age I was given a beautiful female Gray banded King snake. I named her Elvis. 3 months ago I moved her to a new enclosure and she escaped. I have searched and searched but could never find any signs of her. I feared she found away outside and did so.
After putting all my snake room snakes to bed I headed upstairs. 2 hours later I went back down stairs to do a security sweep on all my snakes.
I walked into the small snake room and turned on the light. Sitting on the floor was Elvis. She has lost some weight but look good. She took the longest drink I've ever seen a snake take. I even stopped her before she was done for fear she would have thrown-up.
I never thought I would see her again but now she's back home.
I've even got a little surprise for her. I now have a male GBK. I'm going to quarantine her for a few weeks and then get them together.

2 cats
3 leopardgeckos
2 lampropeltis pyromelana pyromelana
7 rats (no food!!)
6 mice (no food! :P)

and over 1000 mice in froster (food! )





bouth pictures show my male king, he is about 70cm long and was born 07. nedd to make some pics of the female, she is born last year and only 40cm small, lives in a defferent terra. he is a real bitch ... bity ans stinky as hell, but cute if you leave him alone

Beautiful. I just couldn't take the bad attitude from my Pueblan milk snake I had. She was beautiful but what a royal pain in the...

I traded her for a 55 gallon tank so I could fill it with sweet garter snakes.

I couldn't sleep worrying about Elvis so I got up and thawed out some mice for her.
I think she's hungry.

It was about time. All this time I've been able to locate small garter snakes but couldn't find a 3 foot King snake. I was going crazy worrying about her.

I don't know that I would even try to breed them this year. The stress from breeding on top of what she has already been through could be too much.
