I am Vengeance! I am The Night!

Big fan of the Dark Knight here.

Most people remember Danny Elfman's theme, but I've always thought Shirley Walker's Mask of the Phantasm to be sheer awesome:

    The 1989 Danny Elfman theme:

The opening theme from Batman Beyond:

A Prog Rock/symphonic version of the Batman Beyond theme (from The Return of the Joker - worth a listen even if you're not a Batman fan):

From my favorite animated Batman feature to date, Under the Red Hood:

People assume that time is a strict progression of cause to effect, but actually, from a non-linear, non-subjective viewpoint, it's more like a big ball of wibbly-wobbly timey-wimey stuff.

thanks Rhea for that one really enjoyed the music, but it also gave me a great laugh, as you watch it being played you occasionally spot some of the audience clapping out of rhythm, it took me straight to steve martin in the jerk, one of the funniest pieces of film ever.

You like Jazz, huh? Well, here's a little Bebop for ya!

I love this music. Yoko Kanno is an awesome composer!

How about adding Old Yeller to that list?

To me, it wasn't just the ending to Bebop that was sad, but all the stuff leading up to it as well. I love the series because it is so well-written and produced, and it does have its fun moments, but overall, it is very depressing.
