Wow. For the first time in my life I realized that 'per se' is Latin and not French (which there is really no excuse for seeing as I've taken French). Haha, you learn something new every day...

Many of our languages are based upon latin. After having been "forced" while in middle school to take the language, I have an appreciation for the years I spent learning it. It definitely made learning other languages much easier.
