ooooo omg!!!! there is a dog JUST like tink down my street!!!! this big red male golden had attacked and bitten..... in most cases left an obvious scar on EVERY dog on my street....... at least 20...... some have them have moved and new ones have moved in..... but every single one.... the guy walks the dog down the street twice a day..... with out a muzzle...... i don't understand it........ how hard is it to put on a muzzle???!!!!

Part of the problem with Tink was that I couldn't read her...and I'm typically very good at reading dog language. She gave no warning, no barks, no growling, no hair up, no "eye", nothing I could figure out. She would just suddenly lunge....

I used to know a border terrier like that. Although I only ever saw it behave violently towards people (I might still have a couple of scars to prove it), I did hear that it would occasionally attack its own mother as well.

Thanks Stefan... I have scars like that, too, but not from Tink. Shanley, I stopped walking Tink after she first went after a person a year ago. When I thought it was just dog aggression I would walk her without a muzzle, but I kept very good control of her. After the incident with a person the only contact she had with people outside our family was the vet/staff and I did muzzle her.

yeah!!! that is good.... i wish the guy down my street would do that.... it has also attacked 2 people..... one on roller bledes the other on a bike...... and still this guy has no control over her..... doesn't even try...... i wish everyone was as responsible with their pets as you are.....
