When I visited John on Sunday he showed me this photo, he was so chuffed that his son Chris had taken Kenzo out. Anyway he asked me to post it up on the forum, so here's the photo that the old birthday boy was so pleased to see:

I just got off the phone to him and he's had a great birthday with a constant stream of visitors. He's also had a load of cards. The receptionist on the ward has been really impressed by all the cards coming in from the States, she brought him a card today and apologised that it was only from the UK.
