I've been trying to take some updated pictures of some of my snakes. I've got a Sony digital camera. Its not a real expensive one. I'm having a tough time capturing there colors and wanted to see if anyone new any tricks or had any advice. Or maybe ill Just have to buy a different camera
The colors I'm having problems getting is reds and blues.

Natural light, or use strong room lighting.

a quick trick I learned is to tape a small piece of clean paper over the flash to act as a flash diffuser.

I've had some luck taking the pics in the dark with the flash on it seems to catch the true colors of snakes. I'm with wayne natural light is about the best. Post some if you get any i would love to see them.

Can't PM the person, can't respond to the post. Probably thinks we're completely ignoring them. I wanted to point them in Charles' direction or maybe Haz's but I can't. I think it's rather irritating that you can't "quote" them and post it to a different thread either.
