I'm really surprised you listed that one Steve. When you posted pics of baby concinnus stuffed to their "gills" and choking down pinkies already, I cringed and was thinking it was too much for them IMHO.

There's nothing humble about your opinion.
It might be better to use IMO in the future after trashing someone, the way they do things or their posts.

I suppose it may depend on where they are from. I've never known any So. CA gopher snake to even consider eating another reptile, much less a large rattler.

Well, all of this advice we give comes with a cost. We come by the knowledge by making mistakes. Not even I follow my own advice 100% of the time. That's pretty much a given.

I can think of 14 reasons why I trust his judgement in spite of my feelings which I already mentioned in post 7550. Those 14 reasons are neonate concinnus', most or all of which would probably have died if it wasn't for him. Most of them made it under his care and are doing fine now. I'm grateful for that.

I didn't have the time or patience to deal with those snakes. I had so many other babies to take care of that were thriving.
