Yeah, I love every minute working with Chomp, His little brain is always thinking.

You know Wayne, I'm sure you could condition train him like you would a dog(or any other mamal or bird). It would help keep that little brain of his busy.

Like you need more to do.. hehe... I would give it a try, tho. Just a few minutes here and there throughout the day. Pick something he does naturally and everytime he does it give him something really yummy. Then put a hand signal to it. Once he's reliable at that start something new.

That's exactly what is happening right now. When he responds to me calling his name, he gets a bit of food, if he stands up and does a tripod, he gets food.

It is my goal to allow free roaming of the house when he is an adult size.

He will most likely always need the harness and leash when outdoors, they run really fast, swim even faster and climb

If he ever made it down a gopher hole, I'd have to dig up a lot of ground to get him back.
