Instead of just starting a whole new thread I thought I'd throw this out here once again. I didn't get too many comments or nobody noticed before. Amy is missing the middle scale on the top of his head. Weird huh?
The other scales are little bigger than normal and kinda compensates, but there's still a scaleless gap there. Freaky.

Yes. The center scale is missing completely. In this case, the scale marked "f" Pingping (a tiny iowa albino I have that is Amy's half-brother) is perfectly normal. Scale is there.

A birth "defect" I suppose, although it doesn't really hurt anything as far as I can tell. Might be more vulnerable to scratching injury, but other than that, no biggie. But yeah, there's a hour-glass shaped area there where it's scaleless skin.

Even better in person. Amy has quite a charming personality. Wins over the hearts of people he meets, even those that are somewhat repulsed by snakes in general. My little 6 year old niece is totally in love with Amy. Every time she comes over, she heads straight for the room she's in and wants me to get her out. She's not interested in the other snakes at all. So cute.
