They called me 30 minutes into it saying they were going to die if I didn't come to pick them up. XD

:O the movie is brilliant! But that might be because I really like to see how americans "act in certain situations".
Just like Borat (Borat is better then Bruno...) I looooooooooooooove that movie!

I cannot recommend this movie to anyone because of its nature, but if you get the chance...Go and see it!

My tastes in movies range more toward stuff like LOTR, Star Wars (4-6, not too keen on 1-3), and the like.

Lately, I've been on a Mask of the Phantasm kick. For an animated movie, it is extremely well written, and Mark Hamill plays an excellent Joker. It's almost as good as The Dark Knight (and in some ways, better).

Any fans of Firefly/Serenity on here?

I was never really a fan of Firefly, but these days I'd probably like it. I don't think there are any good scifi shows at the moment.

Firefly could have been a lot better if Fox has been more supportive of Whedon's work. They pretty much treated the show like a red-headed step-child during its initial run - they didn't promote it, didn't show the episodes in the right sequence, constantly bumped the show from its time slot for specials and such. Heck, even the way they put together the DVD's seems to be a hindrance rather than a help in enjoying the episodes.

Probably true, but that never affected me over here. I just didn't like the Wild West theme.
