Halloween On the East Coast

Around my house anything made with cabbage is a big hit. My youngest loves to take raw cabbage leave, dipping it in malt vinagar. If I steam cabbage for dinner I have to prepare two heads as it doesn't last long on the table.
The best sauerkraut I've ever eaten was from a German resturant in my home town.
It's long been closed down. I haven't eaten anything like it for 35 years.

Awww, same with Egg flower soup here... that stuff is delicious, an Asian restaurant here had it. Best thing I had ever eaten in my life. My family went there every other Sunday. After my grandparents passed, they closed down. No one ever went there often.
