Re: Albino T.s.parietalis on the Ranch

All my Red Sided garters are eating and eating well.
My large female(new to the ranch last year) is in opaque. Hoping once she sheds to see some breeding action out of my albino male. So far he's shown no interest in any of the 3 ladies he's in with.

Re: Albino T.s.parietalis on the Ranch

I wish I had good breeding news but I don't. He has the pick of 3 beautiful girls and to my knowledge, no nothing (I know it's a double negative)
I'm not discouraged as the real breeding season isn't here yet.

The good news is, he's now a pinky eater (unscented).
All my T.s.parietalis are eating pinkies now.

Well you know there's at least hets living there. Another albino is likely to happen if that's the case. Just a matter of being in the right place at the right time for spotting one. Since this is a den, being there early in the season when things warm up, I'd say that's the right place and time.

Here's an updated photo of Creampuff, my albino Red Sided garter snake.. He's starting to fill out.
He was given a shortened brumation period this year because he was so lean when he arrived on the Ranch.
Still no breeding activity from him but I have confidence that he will do his job.
