    rocky mountain oysters are bulls testicles... and I could never eat toungue...I couldn't imagine tasting something that would be tasting me back!!!! lol!!!!

    Indeed Rhea, and don't forget that hamburgers and others the like mostly contain everything of an animal... it's just well mixed and added flavours.

    Didn't even knew that the rocky mountain oysters existed, so never tried it... Maybe some day, if I see it on a menu

    I *think* Rocky mountain oysters are sheep's testicles, and Texas oysters are bull testicles. But don't quote me on that.

    In Ohio, I have heard chicken testicles called mountain oysters, too.

    Remember the scene in one of Chevy Chase's movies, where he wins a contest to eat the most "Lamb Fries", and then finds out they are sheep testicles? Can't remember which movie it was...

    I wonder which kind of ethnic butcher would carry them in NY
    probably neither the kosher, nor the hallal, nor the italians either, I would think
    perhaps I'll try a polish or russian butcher
    how do you prepare them, if you're not into deep frying?
