Re: Its oh so quiet Shh Shh

    that's horrible

our fosterling doesn't have what I would consider an appropriate enclosure, but he seems totally content to sit on the window sill in the sun with an additional basking light
he gets an east window in the morning and then I switch him to a west window in the afternoon
basking and eating seems to be pretty much all he wants to do
the only time he moves is to turn his other side to the sun, or to get up and be big when someone approaches above his eye level

Nice Don!! She is really beautiful. I would take in another T needing a home... I enjoyed Tatiana the short time she was here.

Thanks Lori, was a long night, but we got home safe and sound at 5:30am yesterday morning. Slept an hour Just heard from the dealership and the engine is toast. It's 5,000 miles out of warranty Their estimate is $4,000 to $4,700 We're going to borrow or rent a truck and trailer and go pick it up this weekend. Hubby says even with renting a truck he should be able to fix it for $2,000... I'll be without my van longer but for the $2,000+ difference I'll live.

    Wayne, that is horrible! Grrrrrr...

Oh. Because you know, it seems to me that, aside
from being a little mentally ill, she's pretty normal.

Very nice Don. I wouldn't mind having another some day either. Ours was pretty cool while we had him.

    Re: new tarantula digs

LOL, I was too, Brett, until I got Tatiana. She really helped me get over my life long major spider fear!! I won't say it was a phobia, but I had real arachnid issues till I rescued her. Then when she flipped over the first time to shed, and was sooo vulnerable and helpless, I just melted...

So, the moral is, we must get Brett a spider, purely for theraputic purposes. Everyone send him one.
