I haven't ever seen Snakes On a Plane, but has anyone ever seen Anaconda? It was pretty funny, but I don't think it was supposed to be...

I agree... plus the acting was so bad and the story so implausible that it seemed like a sort of low budget movie... to be fair, it was rather entertaining, non the less (sorry, that was a wordy sentence).

That's better OK it must have been fairly bad, I remember SciFi channel showing it in like '96... Forgot how young Dirk looked.

I'm only 1 year older than you Don

My favourite part was the "babies" that were actually a group of real ADULT yellow anacondas.

In recent years, CGI has replaced everything! and too many times it looks too fake.

Come on, it put these guys out of work! Poor things have had to resort to panhandling to survive!

Anyone ever see the film "Man hunter" with William Peterson (Grissom on CSI) as the "Retired" FBI agent who consults Hannibal Lechter for advice on catching the "Tooth Fairy"

"Red dragon meets Miami Vice" it was released in 1986 and "Red dragon" is essentially a re-do of it.( The script is almost word for word ) A Michael Mann film. (Hence the Miami Vice feel, and the use of common characters from the show as actors)

Not quite as nauseating as the more current Hannibal films either.

Found it at a pawn shop for $5 Worth every penny.

I watched it for a few minutes, more specifically until I identified "Grissom". Silence of the Lambs is still the only one worth watching.

By the way, is it just my imagination, or were movies better in the late 80's and early 90's?
