We're doing tri-tip instead
The only nice part of family moving away is that we can eat what we want instead of a dry old bird Of course, I'd rather have my sis and niece and nephew here, but it's just going to be us and my mom and we all prefer hubby's tri-tip

Yeah, Rhea nailed it... it's the bottom sirloin piece, somewhat triangular, which is where it gets it's name. We slow roast them on the bbq

we are gonna have 26 people over for dinner and 40 for desert.... then about 15 are staying for 2 or more days
