True enough, and I have an amusing correction. On closer inspection the snail that was "untouched" seemed to have been missing his head. I guess Tiamat does like snails after all... I should probably hold off for now, two snails and two worms in two days. I think that's enough, I don't want her getting obese.
when I was little they called me the snake man... as I was usually carrying around a bucket full of brown snakes.

My uncle claims it tastes like chicken, but that has to be bull, that's what people say about everything that isn't commonly available in fastfood chains.

Though the only species of snake I've ever heard of people eating are rattle snakes and given where I live its unlikely I'll ever get the opportunity to try them. As for whether or not I would... well I like rabbit and I wouldn't be opposed to having one as a pet, it depends on the presentation.

    Re: Dekayi Questions

I know someone who eats female radix... He claims it does taste kind of like chicken, but something is different, and the meat is really dry. He said he eats snakes because he likes surviving and being alive, not starving. Then he goes on saying he lives in an area with a lot of delicious cheap food. I feel bad for all the snakes he's eaten.
I don't see the point of eating a small snake, that wouldn't even fill your belly up a quarter of the way, for all the work you'd have to put into it, especially when there is food readily available. I could understand it if you were lost somewhere, haven't eaten in a couple days and needed food... But seriously?

Indeed. I was really angry about it, I just cant understand why someone would do that. Of course, he said it when I was talking to my friends about my love of garter snakes.
