Between 60 and 120 days from mating. Last year, it was on day 73. Today is day 75.

Due to force majeure, I've personally had to leave my own preggo without supervision for three days. That's unnerving.
I've heard her hiss a few times. Usually when I come at her unexpectedly and for a while last year she had the habit of hissing at her fuzzies before striking them .

Must be stressy mate. I'll cross my fingers that she waits until you get back.

    I think it's day 70 for Sky

I think I'm starting to see weird behaviour .... she definately seems confused with the world ... quizzical tail movement ... slight head-bobbing ... deep breathing .... she even did a bit of a neck wiggle yesterday which definately indicates confusion/uncertainty (it's one of Panama's favourite things when she's not sure what to do).

She definatley seems to fit the restless/uncomfortable category

    Re: Waiting

My big Speckle did the same thing just before and during delivery.
As I watched her she would come to me and lay on my arm or get up on my shoulders. Then she would calm down.
It sure made me feel special.

Sometimes that would go on for a couple of days with concinnus, leading up to the big event. Any time now!

Hissy n pissy .... still not eaten .... weighed in at 422g today .... day 77 ... that's up 12g in the last 11 days.

She's definately not happy with having been moved today either .... time to leave her well alone me thinks .... she's giving a look like 'What the heck did you do that for?'
