I've never heard of it before but looking it up here are the ingredients.
I would be curious as to which species of sardine is used as the Razor belly (scaled sardine) is on the unsafe fish list.
Ingredients
Whole Sardine Meal, Whole Squid Meal, Whole Krill Meal, Pea Protein Isolate, Dried Brewers Yeast, Carrageenan Algae, Konjac, Carob Bean Gum, Dried Kelp, Potassium Citrate, Calcium Propionate, Dicalcium Phosphate,Taurine, Spirulina Algae, Phaffia Rhodozyma Yeast, Paprika Extract, Calendula Flower Powder, Marigold Flower Extract, Rose Hips Powder, Turmeric Root Powder, Malic Acid, Sodium Chloride, Canthaxanthin, Potassium Sorbate, Magnesium Gluconate, Lecithin, Rosemary Extract and Mixed Tocopherols (as preservatives), Vitamins (Vitamin A Supplement, Vitamin D Supplement, Choline Chloride, Ascorbic Acid, Vitamin E Supplement, Niacin, Beta Carotene, Pantothenic Acid, Riboflavin, Pyridoxine Hydrochloride, Thiamine Mononitrate, Menadione Sodium Bisulfite Complex, Folic Acid, Biotin, Vitamin B-12 Supplement).

From your experience is that the only unsafe ingredient? Seems to me that this could potentially be a great option as well as long as the sardines are a safe species.

I really don't know but I'm sure many of those ingredients are not part of a natural diet for a garter. I'm not say they are bad but I'm also not saying they are good either.

Why do you want to try the jelly when the feedback from members that tried it a few years ago is generally negative? The proof of the pudding for me is that nobody is coming out and saying that they've been using the gelatine mix for years and love it.
I've not read back through the thread, but I'm sure someone points out that the amount of prep time for a batch of this stuff doesn't justify the results. At the end of the day storing frozen whole food (bag of pinkies, bag of smelt, couple of trout fillets) in the freezer is no more difficult than storing the gel.
It would take a lot for me to move from a whole food diet.

I think I'll stick with smelt, mackerel and pinkies because they've got every thing my garter needs with no ffaffing required
