Must have been!! I was still learning about iguanas. It was breeding season, new area.. all the trees I have in the yard. He was in overload!!! If he really wanted to tear my hand/fingers off he could have! BOY do they have some TEETH!!!

he was my big baby... loved to eat from my hand, he loved grapes, I would throw them across the room, he would race to get them. He was potty trained, after that incident, he never tried to bite me again, nor whip me.

Getting Whipped by an iguana tail, OUCH it does hurt. I have been whipped across the face, arms & legs. I have scars all over my arms from his nails. Which I learned to trim, & handle him without him digging into my arms.

It was sad to let him go. He was adopted by another family. An hour away, & he is still living. He is about 11 yrs old now.
We had to put him up... his room, was my sons room. It was sad to let him go! But it was good that he went to someone who loved & cared for him!!

Lucy, by her five inch ring-neck, hanging from her finger. Probably a little rough with it. "It didn't hurt so much". "Yellow-bellow (now demised) loved me, didn't he?

Ha! Now I know what those things on the face are called and what they for! I was just in PetCo the other day admiring a Ball and thinking, "What are those holes?" Show how much I know about snakes in general

Hang around here for long, you will know more than you ever wanted

Stare into that display wall for very long, sooner or later you will likely wind up walking out carrying a box........

Jiffy is only my second snake, but I have never been bitten yet. Rook was really really good, she ate right off my fingers and never confused my fingers for food. Jiffy we have not even had a week, he is pretty friendly though..I dont think he will ever be eating from our fingers though lol

Hay, Dekay! Think I should spill about Peepers biting me? Folks should get a good laugh at my expense.
