I've given up ever catching up on my reading here

on another note
all the worms seem to have disappeared from my garden - it's really weird
freaking out a bit about this, because night crawlers are expensive at pet stores and there are only a few that even get them
so I the offered babies pinky strips again and four of them (including the flame) were hungry enough to decide that they were good to eat
I'll try offering some to the others later - maybe they were just shy

forget the pet stores for worms...got to walmart or kmart and look in the sporting goods section, also can try sporting goods stores and bait stores

I get mine at the gas station up the road... but then, I'm in hicksville. Don't know if NYC gas stations would carry worms. lol

Hello all from the country!
I'm at my cousin's house for a funeral, but afterwards is a little family reunion and some "free time" for me to go and rake in the worms!
She's in the middle of a forest; there's ponds all over and I'm sure I can find some neat snakes if I look.
Did I mention there's a $hitload of worms?
