I noticed that. He looks very solid lately too. I wonder if he's been into some TGH.

    Bearded Dragon Advice

So I have been thinking about getting a bearded dragon and was wondering if there is any problem with having them in the same room(after quarantine of course) as the garters. Also I have done reasearch and am pretty confinident in my ability to care for the little guy but if anyone is an owner of one and has any advice it would be greatly apprieciated.

    Re: Bearded Dragon Advice

Quarantine doesn't change the pathogens each animal carries. Some of what could happen is in you control and some isn't.
Strict hand washing after handling each animal reduces the chance of spreading those pathogens but doesn't eliminate it. There is always a risk.
With that being said I don't know what those risks could be.
I keep a bearded dragon in the living room and across the room I have some garters. As far as I know all is well.

    Lots of hand washing here.

This should be in the "Other Pets" thread, just saying.

I think this one could have gone either way as there is a garter snake connection in the narrative.

I'm not sure any pathogens would be compatable as they'r terrariums are kept in completely different conditions and the animals in question have been seperated by millions of years of evolution.
