MyT. e. scotti (Scott's Garter Snake) and T.s.sirtalis "Flames" also enjoyed their first turkey hearts.

Speckle took her last scheduled dose of med. When I checked on her this morning she had a couple normal looking poops also. The solids are finally looking solid(normal) and the urates look like they should.
Her appetite continues to be strong and she is putting noticeable weight back on.
Things are looking much better for her.

I will contact her vet. today to see what comes next for her.
I'm optimistic about what I'm seeing.

Spoke to her Vet. this morning. He wants her off the meds. for now to see what happens.
I can tell you what is going to happen. I'm going to order another 500 night crawlers. She's eating like a pig.

I have one of my largest enclosures empty, I think I will get her out of this tub and give her some room to roam. She will be on paper towels and alone for the next few months until I'm confident she is well.

Here's Speckle's new/old digs. She isn't too happy with me at this point but did eat more food when offered.
She is getting ready to shed(that's great) and continues to put some weight back on.

I'm the lucky one. She's a great snake. Has been great from the moment I picked her up from outside the front door. She didn't try to get away or put up any kind of fight. From that day she has been great in every way. I would say she has been my best breeder. Two years in a row she double clutched for me. She's a very special snake.

Speckle was looking like she has been gaining weight and she has.
She's filling out nicely and is back up to 208 grams. Her normal weight is the 250-270 gram area.

She'll be back up to weight soon if she keeps eating out well. She's not a particularly big girl is she? How does 250-270g compare with other good breeding radix?

Quite the contrary. She on the large side. Looking back in 2010 she was 242g at conception and maxed at 389g just before giving birth.
