I don't think either one of us are willing to risk it.
I do know a guy who is working on artificial insemination for snapping turtles.
I'm hoping it works out as it takes the dangers out of the natural process.

Love these guys they seem just really chill.

I've spent, and continue to spend, a lot of time working with her. We've built a trust that allows me to interact with her. She seems to enjoy a good leg and neck rubbing

Lately Tank (Chelydra serpentina-Common snapping turtle) has been getting up with me in the morning. This morning it was cold and being a person who likes the cold I opened the front door. I then tried to get Tank up. He was having none of it. He even refused to open his eyes. Stubborn punk. I took a photo and covered my buddy back up. He'll get up on his own later in the day.

Here we have Tank resting on the couch. He enjoys spending time there sleeping. I'll have to move him at bedtime but he won't mind.
