Here's Tank's enclosure. I will be purchasing a larger one in the next month.
The opening on the side has been enlarged 4 times as he has grown. A small cut plastic tube protects his plastron as he goes in and out.
The pillow in front is one of his he sleeps on. He has 2 others and 3 blankets. He goes through a lot of blankets as he tears them up with his claws as he gets settled in for some sleep. He's very strong.
The scoop and bucket are there to keep his water clean. He usually requires 3 changes of water a day and his water is dechlorinated as chlorine bothers his eyes.
He's high maintenance but well worth it.
He is so comfortable in this house. It seem so natural for him to live with us.
I wish everyone could spend some time with Tank. He is such a nice young man turtle.

I would love to visit Tank, how does he react to strangers?

He usually stares at first then moves in to touch and smell. Never in an aggressive manor though. He's just curious. He notices even slight changes to his world. The kids are always showing him new things. He's active and inquisitive.
I have to share this photo again. Tank thought he found a girlfriend.
    Silly, confused boy.

We just heated a blanket up in the dryer for Tank. He's sleeping well now.
    I'm glad he's not spoiled.

Could that be why they are called Chelydra serpentina?
