    Almost Steve, That photo was taken about 700 feet away in the frog sanctuary.

    Yes they are Steve, I just took these pictures about 15 minutes ago while walking my dogs out back. The smallest one is a tough little guy, has to be he survived the winter despite his size...





    This gal looks big and gravid.

    We found this girl outside our apartment complex today. Checked up on her every little bit to make sure someone didn't decide they needed to make soup...

    Yeah, she would turn her head to watch as I moved around, and she pulled her back feet and tail away when I touched them. She eventually walked back into the woods. I thought she acted a bit strange too, but couldn't see anything blatantly wrong (didn't look to have been hit by a car or injured...).
    I did wonder if she was looking for a place to lay eggs, or had maybe just come out of hibernation? She was pretty far from any body of water, and was covered in dirt.
