Sounds about right. Up to 40 is exceptional.

20 to 30 is about usual, with somewhere in the middle of that the average.

it can get costly to keep a horse very much so. Hay for the winter, feet done every two- three months, she needs her teeth done, deworming, vets etc.

She is a three year old Belgian Mare. BIG Butt. I cannot see over her back when beside her. 17+h tall.

Awesome! I don't know too much about horses, but figured she was some kind of Belgian something. She looks exceptionally big! I really do like horses, though. I'd love to have one at some point.
