I'm not 100% sure but I think they can live around 20-40 years!

Let's put it this way. When I was in the first grade a friend of mine got several feeder goldfish. When we got to be over 21 and getting into bars, one of those fish was still living, and was around 12 inches long.

My great aunt had a small Koi in a heated outdoor fountain/pond. She had that thing for decades. As far back as I can remember.

I believe up to 40 years or more is possible for goldfish to live, from what I've heard.

My Rosy boa, Esme, just gave birth to six healthy little babies!
A few pictures of the new little ones.

Group shot of the first five.

    A single one.

    Number six being born.

It's been about 40 minutes to an hour since number six finished being born but I'm not sure she is done yet. Seems to be slowly pushing another bump down.

Rosies are cool. My only experience with them is a few WC (coastal San Diego county) ones that I kept short term. Given the choices of wild snakes in that area, rosies were always a favorite with kids, due to their docile nature.

They are quite sexually dimorphic in size. My male is full grown and approx 19" and the female is about 3 feet. The Coastal locales get bigger, females up to 4 feet, the desert and mountain locales are the smallest.
