    Those fluffy ball things are called pedipalps and the male spider uses them to to court the female and to tranfer sperm.De spin sex

    Tippy got her hair done today
    She got a bath today, and I decided to try out food coloring on her. Now she's got a mohawk done her back, and pink feet (and nails)and chest

    Here is my new addition as of last night:

    This is a Northern Ring Neck Snake, probably a hatchling; as he is only about 5" long. I "saved" him from the neighbor kid by buying him for $15.00.

    Exciting morning! Two crested gecko eggs hatched! This is the first one to come out. The second one popped out while taking these photos. Haven't gotten pics of it yet.

    Very nice! My girls are being stubborn and I don't even have eggs yet.
    Too many snakes! 15 species and counting. 2.2 plus Crested geckos 2.2 Gargoyle geckos 0.2 Chihuahua 2.1 evil cats.
