Yes!! I do try not to handle the ones I'm not keeping. This one is just too adorable!!! We're going to try and make him and one other office pets. One of the vets said we could... so we're taking that as a yes from both. LOL

Okay, albino momma mouse popped the other day... She didn't look as big as she did last time but... She had an ASTOUNDING 15 babies!
I never see fights either, and because the mice are so used to human presence, interaction, noise (their tank is near the computer stereo) they never eat their babies anymore. I feel like everything that has gone right has.

    Better knock on wood Kyle!

Just kidding, glad its going well, and glad you are the one with mice next to your computor rather than myself! (holding nose)

15 babies is great. I have had litters in the area of 15-18 many times- its always hard to tell for sure though because my mice so often have babies together in a big pile. More typical is probably 9-12 though.

Re: is Raising feeder mice for you?

Also... Does any one know if father mice show aggression to their sons? I'm thinking about pairing the little silver with one of the males from the new litter, and I want to know if they can stay in the same tank for a bit before I get some new tanks and whatnot.
Also, seeing as the new litter is albino... And I really only want to make guesses on sex based on the whether or not you see nipples when they're in the fuzzy stage... How does one mark out a specific male baby? Paint or marker on the tail? I want to be able to hold/handle him a bit so when he grows up he'll be as used to me as the silver girl is.
