idk about the snails... If it's safe and your snake likes them then go for it.

    Re: Dekayi Questions

Tiamat hasn't touched a snail since I got her, and they are still freely roaming around her habitat. However I gave her a big black worm yesterday and a tiny gray one today, and both vanished within a span of 5 minutes. Earth worms are the way to go, and they are so easy. I find them just by weeding my garden.

Haven't found any slugs yet, but when I do I'll see how she likes them.
when I was little they called me the snake man... as I was usually carrying around a bucket full of brown snakes.

Yeah, I was a bit concerned. I figure if she's pregnant she probably needs plenty of food. She's been poking her head up every so often, I hope its a sign she's getting used to the 180 pound hairless ape sitting at the desk next to her.

    Re: Dekayi Questions

A bit of extraspecies sympathy, I am hundreds of times her size. The thought occurred to me the other day as I was playing with my two year old tabby... Cats eat brown snakes, and humans in some cases eat cats, as well as snakes, so really I'm an apex predator trying to get theoretical food items to feel comfortable around me. Under the circumstances I'm willing to be patient.

    Re: Dekayi Questions

The snake doesn't know whether humans eat snakes or not. All he knows is that you're a giant pink monkey, but certainly BIG ENOUGH to eat him.
People assume that time is a strict progression of cause to effect, but actually, from a non-linear, non-subjective viewpoint, it's more like a big ball of wibbly-wobbly timey-wimey stuff.
