Has anyone ever seen the movie "FROGS"? It stars a young Sam Elliot and Joan Van Ark. Lots of herps in that one. I was tempted to try an ID list last time I watched it but I am not that good at it. The main characters seemed to be the "croaking" marine toads though.

most of my martial arts movies I get to see on the bus to summer camp (which I didn't do this year)
one of the Sempais has a large collection
my truly favourite one of his was an older B&W documentary on different martial arts traditions
I do love old Sato Ichi episodes
and there are a couple of Chinese ones one of my acupuncture teacher showed us as an illustration of the use of qi that were pretty cool

I have. The first one was good for about 0.5 seconds, when they shoot down the F/A-18 using the CIWS. That was neat. The rest was ****.

Ooh, but I liked the one where Seagal's character falls to his death 10 minutes into the movie. It would have been okay, if it wasn't for the fact that Kurt Russell was in it, too.

Steven Segal's ealier films were great but some of the later ones are a bit weak.

Ok back to snakes...

Cannot think of any with Garters off the bat.

However there is a reasonably popular TV series that had a scene where a drug induced hallucination featured at least a Ball Python, a corn, a nelsons milk snake, a Melanistic or black milk snake and a few others.

Any guesses???

No ideas?? The episode takes place in outer space...

Another popular TV series on the fourth season the kids placed a Red tail boa, a ball python, 2 corn snakes and 2 milk snakes on mom and dads bed as a prank.. any ideas??????

Its easy to ID the snakes when the show is on DVD, I can pause the movie or show and ID the snakes

I thought all snake people snapped to attention whenever one appears on the screen????

Well, what you're most likely referring to was before my time o'loving snakes. And back then I was more inclined to hide my eyes, change channels, run screaming from the room, or pass out.

*Now* things would be more in keeping with what you suppose snakely folk would/should do.
