    Re: T. e. vagrans babies

    here's my two cents worth
my T.e.vagrans is in a tank with three other females - two approximately the same size and one slightly smaller
I have never seen her express interest in another snake as food
she has been totally on pre-killed food ever since I switched them from minnows as babies
I am certain that she would have to be pretty damn hungry to even recognize the food potential in her cage mates, because her food always comes at the end of tweezers or chopsticks
and I do feel that they enjoy housing in groups

    Very nice little snakes!
Hows their personality? They look quite curious!

Their personality is great, they still dash when you approach the terrarium and they coil up when you try to grab them, but they're otherwise active and curious. The one in the last picture didn't really react even though I took the picture directly from above.

I really wish I had been recording when I first opened the box they were in when I picked them up. They looked so funny when they simultaneously slowly raised their heads like tiny periscopes over the side and started looking around.

They are really cool. If they stay that way I just might start focusing on just T. elegans. Terrestris is climbing rapidly towards the top of my wishlist as well.

    Anybody else think they've grown?
