Guppy males would be the best try I think.
Maybe you can get some hatchlings of the fish that you fed to thier mother too?

    Re: OMG....Babies!!!

Well the mom keeps eating...today she ate all the trout and in seconds the guppies were gone too for my luck the guppies are kept in much better conditions than the others, but it was just a price for her, no more alive food.

So all of this was normal so far....but then I saw her and I realize that she is longer, when I bought her was like 40cm (15.6 inches) now its 50cm (19.7 inches). When I was at the vet's clinic he told me that she was little but could be a lot more big. Is it the only specie that have litter so soon, even if she's not at her adult size?....or every garter is like that? It's there any record of the length of an adult of T. Melanogaster?

And no luck with the little ones, that "feeder guppies" are hard to find

By the way do you keep all your babies in the same tank?

A small pic of the little ones in another tank

I know...too many questions. Sorry about that

Robert, You commented about your "mother" Garters size. Here is a link to reptiles of Mexico. It will give some limited details on your snake

Hope it helps with some of your questions.

I always keep my babies in groups of three. I find it easier to keep a track of which ones are eating what!

Ofcourse not a problem... Tomorrow I'll take a better pictures I'm going to place each one alone and put some worms, today it's the 3rth day and no sign of feeding =( , my sisters just keep staring at them maybe thats the reason, they are scared lol...they are so shy and they run from everything.

Have you tried earthworms for the little ones? You can cut them in a good size and the movement triggers them sometimes. But the guppies are usually and even better trigger.

And it could well be that your sister scares them a bit... I would try to leave them alone for a couple of days...

    Good luck with them

Yep...they can be at the top of an earthworm and nothing happens, and in any pet stores sell the "feeder guppies" =( ...they even cancelled the shipment of wild guppies (I guess because the worms and stuff)...so, the only fish that can be found with small size are Neon Tetra ( I don't think they may help, that colors...could be toxic? I don't know) and Zebra Danio (like 3 dlls each )

Well in the meanwhile I bought guppies to breed them...I know it's gonna take a quite long time but, could be handy on a emergency.

There is a big market of fish...ofcourse no guaranty on them, but you can find anything...It's impressive the amount of species, but it's quite far, probably y I would go on friday... I'm worry about those babies =P
