But they aren't $9.50 for 100 small pinks Steve. it's $19 even with the sale. $4.75 per bag, 25 in a bag.

25 cents for pinky rats. Even if I order 200 of them (way more than I can use before they freezer burn) I pay more that twice that even with the sale.

The bag of 100 pinky mice at MiceDirect is $9.50. https://micedirect.com/index.php?mai...88733564edadf0

What's your point about the rats? You have to pay shipping no matter what you buy or where you buy it from. I'd rather pay 25 cents for rat pinks, which average 5-6 grams, than pay 12 cents for mouse pinks which are 2g at best. I just play the numbers.

Don't be so sure about that. Why would I have to pay shipping if I don't need to have them shipped?

My point is when you list these prices it sounds fantastic. But add shipping and the fact that even if I order 200 of them it seems they intentionally make the box so freaking big, you're paying to deliver empty space. Now if they would only use smaller boxes at a lower rate... or simply go by weight on small orders I might not have to pay nearly $60 to deliver 200 in a box that is mostly empty. They have a minimum order then turn around and screw you over on the shipping if you do that and don't order hundreds of dollars worth. I know damn well if they shipped my 100 or 200 in a USPS flat rate express box or go by weight I could save quite a bit on shipping but nooooo...

I just ordered 1000 pinkies and 200 peach fuzzies from mice direct and the total was $142.00 shipped! That comes up to around .12 each. In my opinion that is very cheap with shipping and all!

How the heck did you manage that. I can't even get a quote on that site but I suspect with my location that price just isn't going to happen. Best I can seem do is around 200 pinky rats for a little over $100 delivered, or around 54 cents each. not sure if it was rodent pro or mice direct but one of those is right in your backyard.

I wonder if I can work something out with someone getting those prices and they could shoip some to me USPS express and I don't care about dry ice/keeping them frozen if they get delivered in 1 day. The snakes don't care and seem to refer them 1 day rancid.

I'd say because of his close location to micedirect, the shipping was considerably cheaper. I just ordered 1000 pinkies and spent $177.00 but I'm in Connecticut and my shipping was around $52.00. You, unfortunately, are on the other side of the country.

yeah I think we've been through this before. Shipping to me is outrageous. For him, it doesn't even have to get on an aircraft.

To be honest with you, there is a guy about an hour from me that goes to the White Plains show. I bought my pinkies there in the beginning of July; I think it was 100 pinks for $25-$30.00. I would still rather pay $52.00 in shipping and get 1000 to my door than drive over 2 hours and pay for gas. It was still cheaper for me in the long run.
