Well, that rule isn't on the list when Stefan sets up the contest and says "the rules are as follows" ...

It's not there. No mention of it.

Most of our members that have been here a few years already know the rule but most of our active members are actually pretty new.

I added the rule to the list a few hours ago.

I thought it had been added quite some time ago when the idea was to make your garter look huge and I photoshopped mine and it was taken down... oh well.

I thought it was common knowledge and it has happened so rarely that there wasn't really a need to have it written down.

It usually is. Or, I would say there's a 50/50 chance since I have won twice, but only one of those times did it end up on the portal page.
