    Esther,

I am so sorry for the loss of your cat. She was a beauty. I hope you still have some of her babies so that her legacy lives on with you.

ROFL--- oh, heavens, I feel your pain. Maybe we should be able to switch homes... you run to mine, I'll run to yours. I could use a weekend in NYC for a change of pace. :-)

    that sounds fantastic
as as it turns out - I actually do know how to take care of horses, sheep, geese, and chickens, so some goats and turkeys are probably not too much of a stretch
but my house comes with pesky humans

Oh. Ah... yeah, I don't do humans. Annoying beasts, they are. Foul, too. I'd get rid of those as soon as possible, Rhea.

Yes, we do. Rosina, who's also in the picture, still lives with us and since January we also have one of Milka's grandsons, Janosch. It's lovely to think there's still a little bit of her living on.

Rhea, you poor thing! Having unpleasant house guests is not nice. How long will you have to put up with them?

I don't think you have anything to apologize for, Lulu. You didn't do or say anything wrong at all?! Maybe it's this thing that often happens when you meet new people, that you get super conscious of the things you said. I had a couple of moments like that myself, so lets just be assured that noone thought badly of anyone.

And thank you again for all your kind words. It's not easy not to feel you're being punished for having had a nice time, but I've had some invaluable support and it's made a sad situation much easier to cope with. You are good people!
