Funny you say that. I lived it. I was in my early 20's and lived in the next adjacent Seattle suburb a couple of years before they were signed. Even then, they were an extremely popular local band "Alice-N-Chains" Changed the spelling when they got signed.

Well of course I do. The grunge movement of the 90's was local phenomenon for me and being 20-something it was perfect timing.

    All of them.

Like audioslave? All they are is members of Soundgarden and Pearl Jam.

Remember this? Layne Staley sang for another signed band back early on.

LOVE soundgarden, Ive seen Pearl Jam and Chris Cornell twice, both were amaaazing! Pearl Jam had the best step up i've ever seen! Really trippy backdrop/lights

    I thought audioslave was rage+cornell?

Ps. You're my new best friend

I did get that mixed up a little. You are right. Chris Cornell was in 3 of the best grunge bands so it gets confusing.

If you think about it there are very few grunge greats. They are the same small group of people behind all the great bands after Nirvana. Any band with Chris or Layne is great stuff.

Yeah grunge after that pretty much became useless, I do quite like Nirvana too, Something in the way is a brilliant track.

Whats your favourite alice in chains track? Mine has to be either Rooster/Junkhead/Love Hate Love
