*UPDATE*

The little robin is in trouble. Apparently she was injured(lung injury) in the the fall. I have a call into my Vet. for advice.
To be honest it doesn't look good.

The bird is suffering from a torn tracheal. My Vet advised it is not treatable in a bird that size and the fact that the bird is still alive means there is a chance it will heal itself. He said keeping it warm and feed is all that can be done.
She's actively eating and pooping so I guess things are as well as can be expected.

yeah, i would tend to think that if the injury hasn't killed it by now, it might just heal. i've seen baby songbirds recover from some pretty nasty injuries (broken ribs / bones, lacerations, severe bruising) when i used to raise them for an organization called "project wildlife" in san diego. robins are pretty tough. hang in there little guy.

At least if she doesn't make it she will be loved and nurtured for the time she has left...that is the best that you can do for her. I do hope that she can pull through this. My thoughts are with you.

Is anyone here familiar with tropical geckos, such as the Satanic Leaf tailed Gecko, before. There the kind I have really don't have any experience with and I have always been a bit curious about them.

I've occasionally seen pictures of people owning these guys and I just love the outline of how they look hiding in the foliage.
