With 5 kids still at home all my gigs are in-house. A few years ago I did drive 7.5 hours with my kids to see a group Newsong(Christian). It was an outdoor concert. Sounded just like the CD and they were great people in person.

Woah that's a long drive! However the mothership did drive about 4hrs to go see Bonjovi for the first time, map reading at 2am was not a pleasant experience!

2 times i wanted to see a show...the first was the elton john billy joel one and my parensts thought it was somewhere else(a field like place no chairs) so they wouldnt let me try to win on the radio and when i told em it wasnt they let me try(last day b4 concert) and i was caller 20 instead of 21 ....and i didnt get a chance to win and didnt have money for the thorogood concert

Katatonia is playing just down the street but my husband won't get tickets!!!! I probably won't want to go anyway by then because I'll be 38 weeks gravid.

My daughter bought my wife and I tickets and roundtrip airfare to Chicago and back to attend the Tina Turner concert a year or so ago. We had a great time! I'm pretty sure that was the only "concert" I've ever attended. We had a great time!
