Good luck with your hunt Richard! Hope the weather is in your favor soon. Seems like you've had bad luck with the cold and rain.

It's not really luck. Just par for the course in western WA. Sometimes it doesn't even reach 80 degrees until July. Last year saw 300 rainy days where I am. I just go from one extreme to the other (Mojave desert to Puget Sound) Victorville, CA (where I actually live now) gets around 5.5 inches of rain a year, Seattle area, about 45 inches. I'm just up here in WA for a few months but it just happens to be during the wettest part of the year and during the wettest March on record. Things are looking up this weekend. Plenty of sun and around 70 degrees.

Let me introduce you to Panzer, my snapper! I've had him for almost three weeks now. He's approximately 2 1/2 years old. I'm interacting with him on a daily basis, my hopes is to recreate a relationship like Steve has with Tank. We'll see where caution and patience eventually gets me.

But it's sunny and warm today! Bill went hiking and found a very gravid puget. I wish he had had a camera with him. He said she looked like she had swallowed a bath tissue tube.
