    SLUGS!!!!!

    I think he likes slugs......

    Each time I put them in there, they're gone in a second...I've never really seen him eat it, but I doubt those slugs can get far in such a short time....

    I know you guys just wanted to save the NW Garter spicies that are decaying....

    Slugs can move pretty fast when they want to.

    I hope he ate them too!!! That would be great! If he did eat it, you can use a slug to scent other things for him to eat, like pinkies.

    Try and see if he'll take a slug from a pair of tweezers or tongs, then you'll know for sure he ate it!

    Well, Im not sure I have too, since I can tell he's way fatter than he ever was. I put like atleast 5 or 6 of them in there and they're all gone..But I will still try it.

    If you feed just slugs you may need to get a vitamin supplement powder. That's why I switched ours over to pinkies. They still get worms and fish as treats, but pinkies are their staple because it's the most nutritionally rounded.

    Actually, slugs are pretty good vitamin wise. I believe someone told me they're actually high in calcium. That's something I wouldn't have expected. I know if you gutload them with vitamin rich foods, they can be at least a little nutritionally complete.
