Not recently..... my tetras did it a couple of times when they were tiny last year, one of the Florida Blues used to do it too. Bless!

I did want to ask about one thing,
When i was feeding the three babies that are left, 2 ate pinky pieces (very enthousiasticly [sp?]) afterwards they started striking at me but today i went into the tank to check on them and they coiled, flattened their heads and lept forward with mouths wide open. quite like a viper
i tried to take pics but were far to quick lol
has anybody else seen this before?
Lulu, I have only one that takes periodic spells the that behavior. Rather comical really, she's a late '07 birth and not big enough to hardly break the skin.

I usually see that in wild caught snakes when they thoroughly recognize you as a threat.
    It's more of a stand-your-ground position.

    well
this is what Mikhaila and I (plus family and friends) did yesterday
    http://www.wildmanstevebrill.com/
we ate a lot and collected some
there was chickweed, burdock, wood sorrel, black locust tree blossoms, wild garlic, lambs quarters (my favourite), honeysuckle bush berries, sassafras root and a few other things
we were also warned of the white snake root plant (poisonous and abundant)
and - ha - we got the recipe for turning poke weed into an edible vegetable - can't wait to try it
it was a pretty long day - 4.5 hrs of foraging
    I learned a lot
I'd wanted to find out more about wild plants I could feed to my lizards, but I think I may end up eating a lot of this stuff myself
