It sounds cliché, but he will turn up when you least expect it. I hope he turns up soon, or failing that hopefully you'll be one of these people that ends up finding their long lost snake weeks after it escaped.
Keep an eye on the cat, when we had our only escapee it was the cat that found her 3 days later, lucky I was there and heard him starting to play.

I am trying to make everyone keep the cat outside. Typically, he's lazy and won't even play, but I want to be safe. The dog just sleeps all day, so he shouldn't be a problem.

I just have a feeling that he's lost forever. It doesn't look too promising right now.

I know how you feel. When I lost Pumpkin, I thought he was gone forever... And I felt like I failed my snakes and wanted to give them better homes... But pumpkin showed up after a while. All hope is not lost.

I've moved so much around in the house that my allergies have acted up and I keep sneezing. On top of that, I'm not supposed to be moving heavy things right now. I'm supposed to be working on my posture for physical therapy and working my neck so that the muscles are right again. Lifting and moving heavy items are not on the list of things I'm supposed to do.

I just want him back. I miss him. I keep looking at the tank and expecting to see him. His tank looks like a tornado hit it because I have to keep compulsively looking through the substrate and the decorations, just in case I missed him the first 100 times I did that. Not one person in my house has seen him.

Just take it easy Ashley. Everything will work out fine. Don't hurt yourself trying to look for him. Besides, the more stuff you move around, the more he'll hide... All the movement may scare him and make him even harder to find. When he's brave enough, he'll venture out where you can find him.

I know. I'm just afraid my stepfather or a baby will find him first...hopefully he has enough sense to stay away from the screaming children. But I'm afraid the stepfather will just kill him.

I'm so sorry that you are going through this. I wish I could come and help you find him. I wish there were something I could do. I just keep praying for you that he shows up.

I'm hoping that he will get hungry and come out into the open as he looks for something to eat.
