Oh yes, we don't do babies at our house anymore! Over the years we've had puppies, kittens, gerbils and fish. The canaries laid eggs, but they never hatched.

Marnie, if you can, I'd get another female. They seem to be happier with company, especially when young.

I had one growing up and when I look back, my biggest regret would be that she didn't have company.

Tress...I knew I could count on you for the caresheet! . Kimberly, you know...I keep worrying that she is lonely...but this is how I keep ending up with too many animals! Everyone needs a mate. I'll think about it...she spends a lot of time out of her cage with my son holding her. But I will seriously think about it because I do want her to be happy and healthy .

They seem to be happier with company, especially when young.

We had two males, way back when... I loved their wheek sounds too. They quickly learn what it sounds like when the refridgerator opens!
