I know I'm a chauvinist... but I don't ask her to go out and work a 10 hour day and bring the money in, and she doesn't ask me to do the ironing. When I'm off work...as I am just now...I join in (a bit). I'm not an idle pig, but nor am I a 'modern man'.

We have pretty much the same set-up here. I work (very) part-time, and keep the house running, and the cooking cooked.
I don't ask my husband to do much around here, since he works the 10 hour days. I'm kind of an old-fashioned type of girl myself.
